Paul W. Cote of Amesbury, member and/or in various positions with the American Motorcyclists Association, the Motorcycle Riders Foundation, the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association, New Hampshire Motorcyclists Rights Organization, ABATE PAC of MA advisor, partner in "Check Twice" signs and stickers business, US Air Force Veteran, and co-founder and President of the Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivor’s Fund, Inc. (MMSF).  Self-employed the past 17 years as a legal and insurance consultant with various Attorneys, past several years with Joseph S. Provanzano, Esquire, in Peabody.

Irv Evans of Franklin, who, after a hiatus of several years to raise a family and change career directions a few times, he returned to his love of motorcycles.  Irv spent over 25 years in high technology organizations, traveling throughout the U.S and Western Europe.  He is a Board Member of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association (MMA) serving as Clerk and Director of Public Relations; a member of the Motorcycle Riders Association (MRF) and is active for the Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivor’s Fund. Irv is Marketing and Recruitment Manager for the Center for Accelerated and Professional Studies at Becker College.

Rick Gleason of South Dennis, motorcycle rider for approximately 45 years, Life Member of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association, member of the American Motorcyclists Association, Treasurer of ABATE PAC of Massachusetts, and active for the Massachusetts Motorcyclist Survivors’ Fund.  Rick is an Instructor with Training Wheels (Motorcycle Safety Foundation), a Patriot Guard Rider, US ARMY (4th Infantry) Veteran.  Rick is a Service Writer with Nauset Marine, Inc, in Orleans Massachusetts.

 

Mike Longtin of North Easton, member of ABATE of CA, the American Motorcycle Association, the Motorcycle Riders Foundation, the former Bristol County Rep and current Treasurer and Board Member for the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association.  An advisor to the ABATE PAC of MA, and employed as Contract Manager for Sodexo USA. 

Paula McCallum of South Easton, member of the Manomet Mystery Riders, former President, Vice President and Newsletter Editor, member of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association, Volunteers Coordinator for Brian’s Ride, graduate of Emmanuel College and Mass College of Art, Operations Manager for a small market research and consulting firm in Sharon, MA.

Elisa Mello of Middleboro, is the beloved widow of Brian Mello, sister of Wolfgang Decker and friend of Tom Newhook, (both in the accident of March 24, 2007 with Brian).  She is a Mother of two and grandparent of one.  She is a member of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association and an advocate for motorcycle awareness and increased penalties for those who violate the right of way of others resulting in serious bodily injury and/or death.  She is an active supporter of the Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivor's Fund, to aid families of riders who need financial assistance after loss or injury, and hopes to help turn tragedy into hope and ignorance into accountability.

Kevin "Gunny" Moreira of Raynham, is the Bristol County Representative for the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association and an active supporter of the Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivors Fund.  Gunny is an Iraqi war veteran (2 tours) and still active member of the US Army Reserve. He is a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and the Veterans Brotherhood VMC, supporting veterans and their issues. 

 

Dawn Newhook of Middleboro, is a member of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association.  She is the wife of Tom Newhook and Mother of four.   After several years of being a stay at home mom and wife, she continued with day care out of their home for several years.  Finally out into the real world, managing an area restaurant.   Recent Rider Training School grad, she appreciates and shares the passion for riding and hopes to learn what she can to help it continue.

Tom Newhook of Middleboro, is proud member of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association, and Team Leader of Brian’s Ride.  Tom was one of the survivors of the crash on March 24, 2007.   He is Husband to Dawn of 22 years and a proud Dad of four wonderful children.  Started riding as a young adult, paused to raise family, and returned with a passion for riding and fellow riders.  Passing on the passion to Dawn, who carries on the passion the same way he does.  He is a professional truck driver and a safety manager.  He was born and raised in East Boston Massachusetts, moved to Winthrop in 1978 and moved to the South Shore in 1984. 

 

Reverend Ray Pike, III, of Randolph, has been riding for nearly 20 years.  He is an Iraq Veteran, past Board Member for the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association and current Norfolk County Rep of MMA, active in motorcycle rights issues and veterans' concerns.

 

Michelle A. Plouffe of Weymouth, has been a motorcycle rider for 11 years, a member of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association and a strong supporter of the Massachusetts Motorcyclists Survivor’s Fund and active Team Leader with Brian’s Ride.  Employed as a network engineer in the financial industry and fabricates custom interior design products.

 

John L. Sullivan, owner of The Jockey Club and a rider ! !   The Jockey Club is a Gold Card Supporter of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association, rider and family friendly full service restaurant with great food and plenty of parking for all vehicles.

 

Janyce Woodward of Bridgewater, is a member of the Massachusetts Motorcycle Association and Manomet Mystery Riders, a Brian's Ride Team Leader with co-sponsors and donations.  She is on the PAC committee for F. L. Chamberlain School, is a Notary Public, a Realtor.  She is employed with  Vendors Unlimited, Inc., and N and D sports-sales and marketing of novelties for major sports and concerts at various venues throughout New England and Super Bowl sites.
